Privacy
How this website handles your information.
This notice covers the website only. It is separate from the Notice of Privacy Practices you will receive and sign before your first session.
Which forms are secure
Consultation requests go through our secure SimplePractice contact form and are received inside our client record system, not by ordinary email. The supervision inquiry and parent guide forms on this site are received through our website host's form service (Netlify Forms) and are not confidential channels. Please do not send diagnoses, medications, treatment history, or other sensitive clinical detail through any website form. We collect that information securely once we have spoken.
What we collect and why
Only what you choose to submit. The consultation request collects your contact details and a brief reason for reaching out. The parent guide form collects a first name and email. The supervision form collects professional contact and licensure details. We use this information only to respond to you and, for consultations, to determine whether our services are an appropriate fit.
What we do not do
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We do not use it for advertising and we do not share it with advertising or social media platforms. This site does not run advertising trackers or third-party marketing pixels.
Submitting a form is not treatment
Sending a request does not create a counseling relationship and does not mean services have begun. A counseling relationship starts only after an intake appointment and signed consent documents. This site is never monitored for emergencies.
Minors and guardian consent
Requests should be submitted by a parent or legal guardian. Counseling for a minor in Alabama generally requires guardian consent, which is handled during intake rather than through this website.
Retention, access, and questions
Inquiries that do not become clients are retained only as long as needed to respond and document the contact, then destroyed. Once you become a client, your clinical record is governed by the Notice of Privacy Practices and applicable state and federal law. To ask a question or request that an inquiry be deleted, contact us by phone or email.
Next step
A consultation is a conversation, not a commitment
Questions about cost, insurance, or fit are exactly what the first call is for.
